Artwork Details

This large work is one of the artist's favourite subjects. Born in 1921, Lim was awarded the Cultural Medallion in 2003. In his 90s, Lim continues to paint actively, and his works are highly sought after by collectors. Lim's works can be found in many important public and private collections. The National Gallery of Singapore has a large collection of his works spanning from his early career, in ink, oil and calligraphy.
