Artwork Details

Eng Tay (born 1947, Kedah) studied at the Art Student League in New York in 1968. He worked as a graphic designer till 1978 before embarking on several painting trips to South America and Indonesia until 1980 for inspirations for his artistic development. He is one of Malaysia's most well known international artists in particular his original prints can be found in many international collections. Most of his works are focused on the family, friendship, music and the natural world.

This beautiful etching which is dated 1981 is rare and among some of the earliest prints made by the artist.
