Wu Tsai Yen (1911-2001) was an renowned finger painter. He was an early teacher at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Art, and also founded the San Yi Finger Painting Society. His works can be found in the collection of the Singapore National Art Gallery.

This work and the other listed on the Gallery's website are typical examples of Wu's paintings.
